For assembly: take your time and follow instructions very carefully. Allot ~1.5 hrs. And yes, you need that piece of wood. Wood not included.
Wheels: difficult to turn with only weight of two small kids.
Umbella: great feature but it annoying rotates freely.
Size: Good size to comfortable fit two kids but it does seem a little bulky when trying to transport in car, even van.
Price: A little pricey.
Bottomline: The kids love it!
